PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS

Surgical physician assistants at the Trauma Burn Center are integral members of the team. Our mid-level providers have additional training and certification, which includes Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Advanced Burn Life Support. They assist the physician team in an autonomous fashion in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. This enhances continuity of patient care, communication, and student teaching.
