Nurses at the Trauma Burn Center care for a wide variety of traumatically injured adults, and burn-injured children and adults. Many of our nurses have advanced training in Advance Burn Life Support, Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses, Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support & Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Patient care includes the initial resuscitation period, post-operative recovery, daily care, rehabilitation and end of life care. We practice in an environment of healing and hope for both our patients and their families. We recognize that our patient's families are an important part of their healing process. Being a Trauma Burn nurse is a daily challenge that requires dedication and strong commitment and comes with great rewards.
