Eagle Scout Project Benefits Trauma Burn Center

As his final requirement to achieve Eagle Scout, Zach Kingdom decided to design and carry out a project to contribute to the University of Michigan Trauma Burn Center. Zach raised the money for supplies and with the help of other boy scouts, family and friends, he was able to make 100 blankets for the Kids Burn Camp. Thank you Zach and congratulations on reaching your goal!

The Saline Area Firefighter Association Casino Night and Charity Auction raised $7,000 this year for the Trauma Burn Center Kids Burn Camp. This camp is specifically designed for children between the ages of 8 to 17 who have survived devastating burn injuries. The firefighters and their wives volunteer their time to help make this event an annual success. This is the third year for the event which has raised more than $12,000 for Kids Burn Camp.
